  1. How to Reuse Scrap Foam Creatively? Polyurethane (PU) scrap foam is usually disposed of or recycled when it reaches the end of its life as a mattress, pillow, cushioning, seating, and other specialty items. If you have any, you might want to think of ways to reuse them creatively. There are so many things you can do to transform old PU foam into new and useful objects. Not sure what to do? These ideas should get your creative juices flowing and inspire you to reuse the material creatively: Stuffing If you have some old pillows or that have lost their fluffiness and could use some new filling, you could stuff them with PU scrap foam to restore their shape. This can be a cheaper alternative to new stuffing. You could even use PU foam to fluff up floor cushions, if you have any! Decorations Whether for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, or any other important occasion, PU foam can be used to create some of the most creative decorations that you can put up in your front yard. Rather than buying your own decorations, consider cutting, shaping, and painting foam into shapes that correspond to the season or the theme of the event. It could even keep you and the kids preoccupied while emphasizing creativity. Make scrap fabrics useful again Do you have some spare textiles or fabric clippings? PU scrap foam can be used to transform them into functional pieces. When you add some wood and other materials, you might be able to design your own furniture or a functional work of art, like a stylish bench or chair. Get creative and play with saturation, dyes, and dimensions to make your own one-of- a-kind designs and free-form sculptures, too. What happens when you don’t need it anymore? If you are not happy with scrap foam and you simply want to get rid of it, make sure to do that safely by leaving the disposal and recycling to a reputable company those sources and trades materials from vendors. They follow the strictest guidelines to ensure adherence to procedures and rules set by authorities, and they can support your recycling efforts to minimize the impact on the environment.
