This is one amazing place that displays all the spice we Indians use and are known for. It is in the Khari Baoli Road, next to Fatehpuri Masjid, at the western end of Chandni Chowk IN Old Delhi. Spices are what connected India to the West and this trade is since 17th Century. So this time add this place up on your list and do take a note that this place is closed on Sundays.

Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah is the resting place of one of the most known Sufi Saint named Nizamuddin Auliya. This place attracts his devotees from across the world. Every Thursday evening this place is lit and the courtyard erupts with the soulful sound of Qawwalis. The traditional Indian instruments played together to serenade the audience in trance.

  8. Visit Delhi Folk Artist The another thing India and Indians are known for, it’s art, their artistry. In west Delhi, underneath the Shadipur bridge, there’s a slum called Kathputli Colony. This place is home to around 800 folk artist. Many from this place have also represented India at shows performed abroad. You will find artists here like a magician, mime artists, folk singers, puppeteers, jugglers and traditional dancers. So much of artist live here yet the place’s time is limited. These people bring joy to so many from their work and a tour of this colony is thus must. You should get there to experience the Indian art.
