MOTION AND REST MOTION AN OBJECT IS SAID TO BE AT MOTION IF THE POSITION OF THE OBJECT IS CHANGING WITH RESPECT TO THE STATIONARY OBJECT , THE IT IS CALLED AS  MOTION  REST AN OBJECT IS SAID TO BE AT REST IF  THE POSITION OF THE OBJECT NOT CHANGING WITH  RESPECT TO THE STATIONRY OBJECT IS SAID TO BE AT REST

DISTANCE AND DISPLACMENT DISPLACEMENT SHORTEST DISTANCE COVERD BY AN OBJECT IS CALLED AS DISPLACEMENT  STANDARD UNIT OF DISPLACEMENT IS METER DISTANCE CAN BE ZERO , NEGETIVE OR POSITIVE  DISPLACEMENT IS VECTOR QUANTITY  DISTANCE ACTUAL LENGTH COVERED BY AN OBJECT IS CALLED AS DISTANCE  STANDARD UNIT OF DISTANCE IS METER DISTANCE CANNOT BE NEGETIVE  DISTANCE IS SCALAR QUANTITY

SPEED AND VELOCITY VELOCITY DISPLACEMENT PER UNIT OF TIME BY A BODY  VELOCITY IS VECTOR QUANTITY VELOCITY CAN BE ZERO, POSITIVE OR NEGETIVE  STANDAT UNIT OF VELOCITY IS M/S VELOCITY = DISPLACEMENT                             TIME TAKEN  AVEREGE VELOCITY =DISPLACEMENT                                        TIME TAKEN  SPEED DISTANCE TRAVELLED PER UNIT TIME BT A BODY  SPPED IS A SCALAR QUANTITY SPPED IS ALWAYS POSITIVE  STANDARD UNIT OF SPPED IS m/s SPPED=DISTANCE TRAVELLED                    TIME TAKEN  AVERAGE SPEED= DISTANCETRAVELLED               TIME TAKEN
