Optical Converter

Analog RF over Fiber modules convert RF signals to optical signals and back. One unit has an optical transmitter (rf over fiber transceiver) which converts the signal from RF to Optical, and a second receiver unit converts the signal from Optical to RF. Both units (optical fiber converters) are connected by the optical fiber of the customer.

  1. What Are Optical Converters And What Can They Do For Your Business?

  2. An optic converter is a device used in the professional world to convert a digital or analog signal between different formats.

  3. These tools are perfect for businesses of all sizes that need to efficiently and quickly transition from one type of signal to another without any data loss.

  4. At its core, an optical converter allows you to connect two systems with different interfaces together so they can share information and data more easily.

  5. For example, connecting HDMI to DVI-D signals or translating copper Ethernet cables into fiberoptic cables across longer distances.

  6. Thanks to this advanced technology, you don’t have to worry about buying separate supporting equipment or having an employee manually transferring the data.

  7. As a result, you’re able to send large amounts of data quickly and with accuracy, meaning your business can keep up with its operations without any lag time.

  8. The converters also come with built-in support for error correction protocols such as Forward Error Correction (FEC), ensuring that transmissions stay secure and intact during transit.

  9. Overall, optical converters are essential tools for businesses that require fast and efficient data transfers without the risk of losing valuable information.

  10. With these devices keeping your assets safe while communicating across multiple platforms quickly and accurately, your business will seamlessly move forward along its path to success.
