  1. Why study in India?

  2. When it comes to higher studies, students have two options in front of them, studying in India and going abroad. • Though going abroad is increasing in popularity in recent times, a reasonable number of students still prefer to stay back in India to finish their higher studies. Therefore, if you have any doubt in deciding whether or not to study in India, • This article will give you some perspective regarding the same. The cost of education in India, in addition to being highly affordable for most meritorious students, is further aided by means of scholarships and loans given by banks and financial institutions, thus eliminating taking care of the financial aspect of education.

  3. More affordable: • The reasons for the same can be the fact that it is more affordable to study in India than it is to do so abroad. Of course, banks do provide loans for foreign education, but if the course that one wants to pursue is available in India, and that too at a reputed university, then it makes sense to not go abroad and save on travel expenses and the expensive fees of foreign universities. Indian universities specialize in various courses that are globally recognized such as engineering, management, medicine and fine arts amongst several others.

  4. No cultural adjustment required: • Those who are Indian students and decide to continue studying in India can get to avail top quality and inexpensive education, without leaving their native country, and thus not having to be too far from their family and friends and also not having to experience culture shock. This is even better for those students who get admission in colleges within their own city/town. This becomes a win-win situation for those students.

  5. Abundance of choice! • Another reason to study in India is that top quality education India is available in Indian universities as well, such as IITs, and IIMs, amongst others. There are a number of good institutes in our country, which are at par with some of the best universities in the world. In fact, IITs were ranked as the 50th in the world and 2nd best in the field of engineering by the Higher World University Rankings. India is also ranked second-largest education system in the world.

  6. Diversity of choice is also a good reason to study in India. The country is home to more than 300 universities and 17,000 colleges, which ends up leaving one spoilt for choice and never feeling at a loss if they don’t get admission into a particular university or if they feel that a university is not suitable for them in terms of environment, distance, if it doesn’t provide them the course of their choice or any such reason, because they have the assurance that they can select from several others, and one of them will be that place where they will educate themselves and become worthy enough to survive in the competitive outside world and get the suitable training to excel in the field of their choice.

  7. The diversity, not only in the education in India, but also in the various cultures, landscapes, traditions, languages and customs of the country and the equally diverse aspects of student life and life on the campus of an Indian college are also good enough reasons to study in India, particularly for international students, if they so decide.
