With the opening date of the Museum of the Future in Dubai approaching (February 22, 2022), attention is turning to the building, which has turned into a masterpiece of architecture, design and engineering creativity in the region and the world. » to the most beautiful museums in the world even before its opening, not only because of its unique design, but also for its innovative innovation that demonstrated the capabilities of robots and artificial intelligence applications in the completion of exceptional projects according to amazing artistic and aesthetic standards. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended in October 2020 the final piece in the facade of the “Museum of the Future”, which completed the exterior design of the museum and marked the beginning of the final stage of the completion of the future edifice, which embodies through Its high level of engineering and scientific creativity, the UAE’s leadership in creativity, design and manufacture of unique engineering and architectural achievements, and it has become a prominent landmark added to the distinguished urban landmarks of the Emirate of Dubai. The iconic exterior facade of the museum consists of 1024 architectural pieces that come together as giant aesthetic components to give the museum’s structure its flowing exterior shape, decorate the urban skyline of Dubai with an iconic landmark, and form the UAE as a gateway to a better future for humanity for the coming years and decades. The exterior is made of steel and produced using automated robotic arms that adopt precise algorithms for a robust and streamlined design, and a polished facade that reflects the heat of the sun’s rays on one side, and lets in light during the day to enhance the illumination of the space through a sustainable creative design. Each of the facade panels of the Museum of the Future consisted of four layers of highly efficient and durable materials, while the production process of one panel included 16 interconnected process steps, accomplished with high craftsmanship, and fully automated processes that employ precise design equations and achieve extreme precision in juxtaposing the panels side by side without voids. Or differences in thickness and density, which made the Museum of the Future building an inspiring urban masterpiece.

The 1024 pieces of the facade were installed over a period of 18 months, over a total area of 17,600 square meters, while the pieces are stacked to make the surface of the museum’s facade a giant polished jewel. The unique exterior structure of the Museum of the Future reflects its distinction as one of the most advanced and ambitious urban projects in the world, with its unparalleled creative design, and an exceptional structure that makes it among the most streamlined buildings in the world. The Museum of the Future won the Tekla International Building Award as a unique urban model and an unparalleled architectural icon around the world, as there is no building in the world that was built based on similar techniques and relied on special techniques that distinguished it from other buildings. The building was designed by architect Sean Killa to offer visitors a first-of-its-kind interactive experience. The global design software company, Autodesk, indicated that the Museum of the Future is one of the most complex buildings in the world, in terms of design ingenuity and accuracy of implementation. The Museum of the Future building embodies the capacity, ambitions and commitment of human beings to establish a better future. It was built using unique steel panels adorned with Arabic calligraphy, which is one of the most eye-catching landmarks in the facade of the building, making it a unique architectural masterpiece in Dubai.. the city of the future.
