  2. Mold Inspection Washington Township • Did you know that Mold Inspectors are required not only to be Certified, but also carry Insurance for testings? Surprisingly, most people are unaware of this fact. This leads to uninsured and inept mold inspection contractors being trusted to deliver vital test results which could cost you tens of thousands of dollars in the long run. Not having the appropriate data collected by a Certified Mold Inspector is just throwing your money away. We are Certified in Mold Inspection receiving perfect test scores in all categories and are fully insured to carry out any mold testing you may need. We proudly serve the Philadelphia, PA area.

  3. Here is a list of the type of data and services we perform: • Air/Spore Trap Sampling • Surface Sampling • Bacterial Swab Analysis • Petri Dish Collection • Dust Sampling

  4. Air Sampling • Air Sampling is the use of a Bio-Pump which employs forced air to impact spores onto a collection media or cassette. Samples are generally best taken if visual, non-invasive examination reveals apparent mold growth or conditions that could lead to growth, such as moisture intrusion or water damage. Samples are laboratory tested and analyzed and will identify if mold is present, the type of mold and the spore counts against a control. A control is an outdoor sample taken at the inspection to measure the interior air against the outdoor air as a comparison.

  5. Surface Sampling • Surface sampling is a method of sampling a suspect area directly and then submitting that sample to a laboratory for results. Is can determine and identify molds actually growing on the surface sampled, as opposed to the mere presence of mold spores. Mold Inspection Washington Township

  6. Bacterial Swab Analysis • Bacterial Swabs are similar in procedure to other swab testings, but the swab itself isn’t sent to a lab. Rather, a handheld device gives an immediate reading once the swab is placed into the unit after the suspect area has been lifted. This is a great tool for food industry to insure surfaces being used on a daily basis are free from bacteria and employees are keeping up with their industry standard responsibilities.

  7. Dust Sampling • Is a method of determining whether the surface spore population represents a normal population or is skewed, indicating the possibility of mold growth in an area. Marker spores indicative of mold growth may also be noted • ProsSamples are known to show the “History” of what has been in the airDirect examination may be immediately analyzed. • ConsCan be difficult to interpretResults reliant on many difficult to control factors
