  1. EXPLORE THE BHU LAW ENTRANCE EXAM 1. BHU (Banaras Hindu University) is a prominent central university situated in the holy city of Varanasi 2. BHU LLB entrance exam is a famous university-based examination conducted by Banaras Hindu University. 3. The courses for bachelor of law offered by the university are BA LLB (Hons) and LLB 4. The courses for Masters of law are LLM, LLM (HRDE: Human Rights and Duties Education), and LLM (1 Year). 5. The examination is held in the month of May which students have to clear, which is conducted by Banaras Hindu University across India.

  2. ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION FORM 1. The eligibility criteria for law courses in BHU is: i. LLB (Hons) - At least 50 % in the undergraduate degree ii. BA LLB (Hons) - At least 50%, 45% and 40% for General, OBC and SC/ST respectively. iii. LLM (General) -At least 50 % aggregate marks in LLB Degree iv. LLM (HRED) - At least 50 % aggregate marks in LLB Degree v. LLM (One Year) - At least 50 % aggregate marks in LLB Degree. The applicant should not be more than 35 years of age on July 1st of the year of seeking admission. Application form of BHU Law Entrance can be submitted on the official website of BHU(www.bhuonline.in). The application fees is same for all the 5 courses. i. General/OBC – ₹ 600 ii. ST/ST – ₹ 300 1.

SYLLABUS AND PATTERN OF THE EXAM There are two types of exams under the BHU Law Entrance Test, the UET for the Undergraduate Courses and PET for the post-graduate courses Syllabus for UET which includes LLB(Hons) and BA LLB(Hons) i. General Awareness and Current Affairs iii. Mental Ability ii. English comprehension iv. Legal Aptitude Syllabus for PET which includes LLM(General), LLM(HRED), LLM(One Year) i. Jurisprudence vi. Criminal Law ii. Law of torts vii. Environmental Law iii. Law of Contracts viii. Indian Evidence Act iv. Constitutional Law ix. Family Law - Hindu Law and Muslim Law v.
