  1. Dell computer running slow? Here’s how to fix it

  2. You want to do things quickly but your Dell computer just stays behind. What a disappointment! You'll understand over time that all digital devices run slowly sooner or later, and probably you have to get the new ones by then. If you're using a Dell computer that's slow and speed slows down daily productivity, it's time to pinpoint and fix it.

  3. There are a number of reasons and the true culprits vary from situation to situation. The problem of computer slowdown is often caused by system load and device driver issues. General slowdowns can be caused due to lack of hard disk space, concurrent execution of multiple programs, malware infections, overheating and so on. If your system is slow while surfing the Internet, the web browser you use may be too heavy - with many plugins, caches, and so on.

  4. Run a quick health check on your Dell First off, get an Antivirus and run a thorough scan of your system to see if you've got any viruses. Optimize the startup items If your pc is brand new, make sure you've uninstall those bloatwarethat've been pre-installed on your computer, they are useless most of the time. To manage your startup items — those applications or services that automatically boot when you turn on your pc, you can use the built-in feature called Task Manager in Windows. There you'll see a list of programs, disable or remove those unnecessary ones.

  5. Clean the hard drive A fragmented or overloaded disk can also cause performance problems, especially if you have many files and applications stored on your computer. Simply put, the more data you store on your hard drive, the harder it will be for Windows to organize that data, which often results in an almost complete hard drive. Add more RAM or replace it with an SSD It's obvious that more memory and solid state drives (SSDs) make each PC much faster. So, if your Dell computer gets older and it's still slow after trying everything possible to speed it up, then it's probably time to update the hardware. Do you need more performance for software requirements? Get an extra 4GB of RAM; Is the hard drive broken and noisy? Replace it with an SSD. Then the performance would be guaranteed day and night.
