Breaking the Stigma: Signs of Depression in Black Women

Depression is a pervasive mental health concern that affects individuals regardless of race, gender, or background. However, within the Black community, there exists a significant stigma surrounding mental health issues, particularly among Black women. This stigma can prevent Black women from seeking help or even acknowledging their symptoms, leading to underdiagnosis and undertreatment of black female depression.
