The small town was founded in 1866 and currently offers plenty of amazing places to visit in this city. Places of interest here include the Town of Woodbury, Brechin Park, Barbie Beach, Walking Dead Tours, and more. If you care for a bite, the city offers some remarkable restaurants, such as Nic & Norman's,Maguire's, Bistro Hilary, and more. Most people can’t explore the town in just one day and look for sleeping accommodations. Sure enough they find it at the award winning Veranda Historic Inn. The Inn is an attraction by itself. Built in 1906 and offers 10 rooms with private baths and a beautiful continental breakfast. Book In Advance! The Veranda Inn is perfectly located in town, just one short block off famous Main St. But don’t wait for the last min. Although they accept walks-ins, you will rarely find an empty room without booking in advance, especially on weekends and high holidays. The Veranda Inn offers free continental breakfast, free parking, free Wi-Fi and plenty common areas. On some weekends and high holidays the Inn offers a 4 course meal for just $15 a person. You will need to find out if your dates accommodate the full breakfast and if so, book in advance. In our opinion you will need at least 3 days to explore the historic town, or more days if you seek a little outdoor adventure. Not too far one can find, zip lines, tree climbing, finishing, golfing, and more. By staying at the Veranda, you will be able to enjoy and maximize your visit.
