  1. Does Apple Cider Vinegar Hold the Key to Weight Loss Success With the rise in technological advances, many influencers and fitness enthusiasts take to different social media platforms to showcase their content. Many of these people spread information and posts that are not completely factual and scientific, leading to many consumers listening, taking in, and believing content blindly. Most times information can apply to a certain group or individuals but may not work for others. Therefore, spreading general information as solutions to specific issues while being on different sides of a screen where both parties may be strangers and haven’t seen each other can have quite the opposite reaction and response when listened to blindly. Here in this article, let us discuss the facts and the efficacy of one such solution that is used in weight loss and also its benefits on the other hand. What is Apple Cider Vinegar? Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is one kind of vinegar made up of fermented apple juice, sugar, and yeast. The preparation of AVC is carried out in two steps, the first step involves the conversion of crushed apple into alcohol by the activity of yeast. In the second step, bacteria are added to the solution of alcohol, and later fermentation is done to convert it into acetic acid, which is the essential element of vinegar. ACV is taken in different ways like adding in a salad, cooking, pickles, marinades, and preservatives. Along with this, it has been used traditionally to fight against germs and as a medicine. It is also said that it helps boost metabolism and burn fat and appetite but there are no clear facts and pieces of evidence to prove them completely right. Some studies say that ACV might have a slight effect on losing weight when consumed along with proper diet and fitness exercise. How does ACV work on weight loss? There are several mechanisms by which ACV may affect weight loss one among them is the acetic acid present in ACV helps in reducing hunger and hence makes you feel a sense of fullness which in turn delays gastric emptying. Alongside it also has it impact on insulin and sugar levels in the blood which plays a vital role in regulating the storage of fat and metabolism. It is also been said that it reduces the accumulation of fats by promoting the activity of fat oxidation. However, it requires more case studies and scientific facts to prove the efficacy of ACV in reducing weight.

  2. Case Study on Apple Cider Vinegar Diet Plan This case study explores the effects of ACV on young age people who are overweight. In Lebanon, invigilators conducted it with 120 people in the age group of 12 to 25 which included 74 females and 46 males. They had a Body mass index (BMI) ranging from 27 to 34 and were randomly split into 4 groups. While the first three groups were given three different quantities of ACV in one cup of water once per day, the fourth group was given a placebo liquid. The diet and physical activity of the participants were recorded. The authors found the changes that there was a certain amount of weight loss and BMI in the people who included ACV in their diet when compared with people taking a placebo. The groups that drank high doses of ACV could see high weight loss and reduction in BMI. The rest variations of doses could also notice similar reductions in weight loss and invigilators say that there was not much difference in all the groups. The ACV intake in small quantities with dilution in water will not possess many side effects but a larger dosage will cause enamel, so avoid drinking it beforebedtime. Conclusion In conclusion, the intake of ACV in the diet and using it in cooking is not wrong but taking it as a way or remedy for weight loss is not proven as a better way. Instead of only using ACV to reduce weight also focus on a healthier diet plan, regular exercise, sleep timing, and mental healthwhich are effective and result-oriented. As with any dietary supplement, consult with a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle.
