  2. OUR STORY I started the Hidden History club because, like you, I just love reading about the people and events that have shaped the way we are today. But it wasn’t just this passion that made me start the Hidden History Club. It was the discovery that my wife’s Grandmother down in Lake Suzy, SW Florida, had accumulated, over the course of her 99 year life, what is probably the largest collection of magazines-some dating back to the 1920’s-I’d ever come across. There are1000’s and 1000’s of them ( and probably an equal number of books as well). An unbelievable library of knowledge and information. All carefully packed and annotated, piled to the ceiling. Some certainly deserve re-telling-and the Hidden History Club aims to do just that. But the Hidden History Club will go back way beyond the reach of these magazines. We have given ourselves a broad remit…anything in History that on closer inspection has an interesting back story to tell, or has just plain been forgotten, we’ll be digging into and sending to you each month.
