The manner in which such logos, copyrighted materials, service marks, trademarks and other information may be displayed or used shall be determined by the Board of Directors. Product Certification 2004年11月，SEFA全体会员通过了“建立基于SEFA标准之自愿产品认证程序”。具有SEFA认证的产品将可盖有SEFA认证印章，且在市场上将被视为符合SEFA已制定之性能标准的合格产品。其将成为被政府机构、建筑师、规格开立者、总包商、建筑管理者和终端用户认可之国际标准。 “基准条款”将作为评估申请认证之供应商的产品是否符合已有标准的准绳。目前，此评断标准包含SEFA8（实验室底柜篇）推出之性能要求。将来，当相应性能标准建立以后，SEFA将增设其他产品组之评估。预期SEFA 9（无管道通风柜）将成为下一个产品组。 SEFA董事会已经指定8家第三方独立测试机构作为其授权之测试实验室。这些测试机构业已被证实有能力遵照SEFA8完成测试。各会员公司可以呈送其产品至这些机构中之任何一家接受测试。如产品达到或超过此标准将获得SEFA 8 标准级别认之认证并可获得SEFA之认证印章。未经通过的公司将不可宣称或暗示其产品符合SEFA标准。 SEFA 保有质疑及核查任何声称符合SEFA标准之公司的产品。任何公司一旦认证获得SEFA的认证印章，表明其具备生产符合SEFA标准的高端产品之资格。事实上，当SEFA标准被纳入项目规格要求的时候，具有SEFA产品认证之会员公司还当具备参与竞标之优先权。 In November of 2004 SEFA's Membership approved the establishment of a SEFA-based voluntary product certification program.  A "SEFA Certified" product will bear the SEFACertification Seal and will be recognized in the marketplace as a quality product able to meet established performance standards.  International standards that are recognized by goverment agencies, architects, specifiers, general contractors/construction managers and end-users. The "benchmarking protocol" evaluates a candidate's product to measure whether or not the product meets the established criteria.  At the present time, this criterion includes performance requirements set forth by SEFA 8 (Laboratory Casework).  In the future, SEFA will add other product groups as performance standards are established.  It is anticipated that SEFA 9 (Ductless Hoods) will be the next product group. SEFA's Board of Directors has approved eight independent testing facilities are SEFA-Certified Testing Labs.  These facilities have demonstrated a level of competence and are qualified to test to SEFA 8.  Individual companies may submit their product(s) to one of these labs for testing.  Evaluation will be performed and if the product meets or exceeds the established criteria it would earn the "SEFA 8Certified" rating and carry the SEFA Certification Seal.  Companies not approved by the SEFAcertification process may not claim or imply conformity with these standards. SEFA reserves the right to question any claims of conformance and to examine the product of any company claiming to be SEFA certified.  Once a company has earned the SEFA Certification Seal they are qualified to fabricate products according to SEFA‘s high quality standards and in effect, are prequalified to perform work when SEFA standards are incorporated into the project specifications.
