INTRODUCTION Trimbakeshwar Temple located in Trimbak village in Nashik, Maharashtra, is the holiest place to perform all types of Vedic poojas like Narayan Nagbali Puja, Kaal Sarp Dosh Puja, TripindiShradh Puja, Kumbh Vivah, Mahamrityunjay Jaap and Rudra Abhishek. It is believed that performing Puja or any rituals at the Trimbakeshwar temple is more effective than performing pujas at other places. All the poojas are performed by Trimbakeshwar Purohit Sangh, who are TamrapatraDhariPanditji/Guruji.  Narayan Nagbali Puja is the most important puja in Vedic rituals. Let's discuss more Narayan Nagbali Puja.  Narayan Nagbali puja is three day rituals. There are two types of this Puja. One Narayan Bali Puja and other is Nagbali Puja. Both are performed for two different reasons. Both the poojas are only performed at the Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra. According to Garuda Purana, It will be very beneficial to perform Puja on the holy land of Trimbakeshwar temple has very positive effects on our family members and for our next generations too.  Narayan Bali puja can be performed in selected places across India. Trimbakeshwar is one of them. This Puja is performed in case of the unnatural death of our family members. Unnatural death because of any reason like suicide or accident we performed this Puja. In some cases, if the annual shradh ceremony is not performed for many years, our Kundali or Birthchart shows PitruDosha, we perform Narayan Bali Puja. Nagabali Puja is performed to get rid of the curse caused by killing a snake-like Cobra. 

  3. 3. NARAYAN NAGBALI PUJA VIDHI It takes three days to perform. Please come one day before or early morning till morning on the day of Muhurta, which is given by Guruji/Panditji. If the father is alive, no need to mundan (going bald); else devotee has to be bald if the father has departed. Before the pooja, the devotee has to take a holy bath in kushavartaKund and wear new clothes. It is compulsory to wear new clothes, Dhoti for Men and Saree for women. Please avoid Black and Green colour. Over a period of three days, prescribed puja vidhi is performed by Trimbakeshwar Temple Purohits. 

  4. 4. BENEFITS OF NARAYAN NAGBALI Narayan Nagbali puja is performed to satisfy departed souls or to get rid of the curse caused by killing snake-like Cobra. After performing this Puja, you will feel very positive. There are so many benefits of this pooja. WHO SHOULD PERFORM THE NARAYAN NAGBALI PUJA? • All the peoples can perform the Narayan Nagbali pooja. • To have the baby, both husband and wife can perform this ritual. • If either of the parents is, people can do this ritual after one year of death.  • Any pregnant woman, until the five-month of pregnancy, can be allowed to do Narayan Nagbali. • Up to one year after holding a sacred function in the house, people should not do this ritual. • If either of the parents is, people can do this ritual after one year of death Narayan Nagbali Puja Cost :   • Puja cost is total depend on the Guruji and Puja Samgri used by the Guruji. 

  6. 6. NARAYAN NAGBALI PUJA DATES The best time to perform this Puja is Pitru Paksha. As per the Nakshatra Panditji/Guruji will give you the dates for Puja. Per month approximately 2/3 muhurtas are there. It is good to perform this ritual during Pitruda Ekadashi. Particularly it takes place on the banks of the river or any other sacred place. You can also perform this pooja on the 7th day from the no moon day.
