You will meet our tour guide at the pier in front of Cuu Long Hotel in Vinh Long where our crew welcomes you aboard on Cai Be Princess Sampan. You will be served with cold towels and a refreshing drink while the boat sets off for a beautiful cruise on the main waterways of the Mekong Delta. The sampan gently crosses the Co Chien River which is one of the nine branches of the mighty Mekong in the Delta, to enter the Dong Phu Canal. On your comfortable seat, you have the chance to see the islands of An Binh and Binh Hoa Phuoc. These places are famous for their abundant fruit orchards. You also observe the people’s lives and the stunning landscapes on the riverbanks while the crew serves you hot tea and seasonal fruits. Along the narrow canals, there are rural, unspoiled areas and lush scenic views on both sides of the banks. You will visit the first destination, an ancient house built in the 19th century. Then you continue to go to the bustling trading town of Cai Be on the river. You will be surprised that there is much more boat traffic, from motorized canoes to barges laden with fruit, vegetables, consumer goods, and other products. The local people call this place Cai Be floating market. Those who first sees these activities are impressed with it and take a lot of exciting pictures for their memorable journey. The next stop is Phu An Hamlet where you can study how to make coconut candy and puffed rice (similar popcorn) in small local workshops manually. After this activity, your cruise ends at Le Longanier Restaurant. Your lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river and surrounded by many fruit trees. At around 2:30 pm, you will have a chance to take a short walk along a small canal back to Ba Bon Bridge where our vehicle awaits to drive you to Ho Chi Minh City.
