  1. Express Entry System Way to Canada PR

  2. Introduction Canada has been inviting foreign nationals to migrate to Canada with an intention to fill in their vacancies. Any skilled professional, with strong hold in their domain, and papers to prove one’s experience can relocate to Canada in pursuit for a better future. Canada, to streamline its process, came up with a system that could help both Canada immigration and the applicant ease the process and named it EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM.

  3. The Express Entry system was launched in January 2015. Express Entry System handles management for all of the immigration streams. All applications pertaining to Federal Skilled Worker program, Federal Skilled tradesmen program, Canadian Experience Class program and few of the PNP programs along with investor programs are handled via the Express Entry System. Canada’s application Express Entry system, although started as a pilot project to support the Federal Skilled worker and traders immigration applications, looking at its humungous success, it got extended to support the other streams. Currently 90% of the applications pass through the Express Entry Portal. Every year a minimum of 3 lakh applications get passed through this system.

  4. Every application submitted into the Express Entry portal will be given a score based on factors like age, education qualifications, domain experience, adaptability and Language abilities. The applicant’s spouse and dependents, based on their qualification also add up to the score. Each of the profiles which are given a score will be graded or ranks are given. However, the ranking system depends on the score and also on the current requirement in Canada. Based on the current openings in Canada alone will the profiles will be further shortlisted. This will be the case based on the requirements in any of the provinces or otherwise.
