  2. INTRODUCTION ThisprogramisdefinedforthosewhointendtosetuptheirbusinessinOntario. Itcouldbeastart-uporcouldbeaninvestmentinarunningbusinessthere.This streamispartoftheOntarioImmigrantNominationProgram.Thisprogramearns thePermanentresidencyinCanadafortheentrepreneur.Heneedstohowever provethatheintendstoliveinOntarioandparticipateintheeverydayworking ofthebusiness.Thisprogramcanbeappliedaloneoralongwithabusiness partner.

TOqualifyforthisprogram – Theapplicantshouldhaveaminimumof2yearsofbusinessexperienceor shouldhaveexperienceasabusinessmanagerservinginahugecorporate Applicantshouldbebetween25yearsand49yearsofage He/sheshouldbeabletoachieveaCLBof5ineachofthelanguageband. Theapplicantshouldhaverequirededucationandbeabletoprovethesame Theapplicantshouldbeabletoprovehisnet-worthofCAD $800,000if investinginGreaterTorontoAreaorCAD $400,000ifthebusinessislocated outsideGreaterTorontoArea.IfthebusinessisintheICT/Digital Communicationssector,thentheapplicantshouldhavetheNet-worthofCAD $400,000irrespectiveofthelocation. TheentrepreneurneedstoinvestaminimumofCAD $600,000ifinvestingin GreaterTorontoareaorCAD $200,000ifinvestingoutsideGreaterTorontoArea. Heshouldownaminimumof33.33% ofbusiness Theinvestmentshouldcreatejobsforatleast2permanentresidentsofOntario orcitizensthere.

  4. MostoftheCanadaInvestmentImmigrationprogramsthroughProvincialNomineeMostoftheCanadaInvestmentImmigrationprogramsthroughProvincialNominee Programfollowthisprotocol. Theotherimportantfactorthattheimmigrantaspirantneedstocompleteisthe mandatoryvisittoOntario.He/sheneedstotakeabusinesstourtoOntarioto conductathoroughresearchinthebusinessandthelocationthere.Thisistermed astheexploratoryvisit. ThisprogramisbasedonPointssystemtermedasOINPEntrepreneurStreamPoints System.Eachoftheapplicantscanachieveupto200points.Thissystemis categorizedinto3broadcategorieslabeled,humancapitalfactors,investment factorsandbusinessconcept. UnderHumanCapitalfactors,thebusinessmanwillearnpointsbasedonbusiness managementexperience,pastspecificexperience,languageabilityandeducation levelofthebusinessman.Thenettotalpointsearnedunderthiscategoryare80.

Aspartofinvestmentfactors,thebusinessmanwillbeabletoearnpointsbasedonAspartofinvestmentfactors,thebusinessmanwillbeabletoearnpointsbasedon personalnet-worth,amountofinvestmentandonbusinessrelatedvisittothe province.Thetotalnumberofpointsearnedunderthiscategoryis46. ThefinalcategoryofpointsislabeledasBusinessConcept.Thetotalnumberof pointsachievableunderthiscategoryis70.Theapplicantwillbeawardedpoints basedonthebusinessmodel,marketresearch,thesectorandeconomicbenefits theywouldearn,themannerinwhichtheinvestmentisallocated,businesslocation andjobcreation. OINPalsoinvitesskilledprofessionalsintotheprovincethroughtheirOINPExpress EntryProgram.

TheapplicantwillbesubmittingtheirExpressionofInterest (EOI) first.Basedonthe initialscreen,theapplicationwillbefilteredforfurtherprocessing.Theapplicant willreceiveanInvitationtoApplyafterthescreeningwhichwillbebasedonthe rankingsystem.TheEOIwillremaininthepoolfor12months. Afterthefinalinterview,theyneedtoenterintoaBusinessPerformanceagreement withtheOntariogovernment. InvestingintherightbusinessisimportantandhencetheaspirantEntrepreneurwill needtoworkwiththerightimmigrationfirmtorelocatetotheprovince.Itis importantthattheyworkwithancertifiedinternationalinvestmentimmigrationfirm.
