  1. Natural is best Use only natural colours as they are skin-friendly Buy colours from a reputed vendor Use more of red and pink as these come off easily as compared to green, orange or purple

  2. Protect yourself Oil your hair before playing with colours and cover it Cream your face and other exposed areas before and after play Close your eyes and mouth when someone puts colour on your face

  3. Some DOs Use water with care Wear old clothes when you play with colours Be gentle when you apply colours on others Monitor your child’s activities and be firm if you find them playing dangerously

  4. Some DON’Ts Don’t waste water Don’t use artificial colours as they contain harmful chemicals Don’t make the place dirty by simply spraying on walls Don’t spray colours on unknown people Don’t play rough games
