  1. Why is a responsive website and design so important? Every website should be designed to serve the user’s intent, whether it has been accessed from 13’ laptop screen or a 6’ mobile device. By default, websites are designed in accordance with desktop pages, but what about the increased number of mobile phone users accessing these websites? A website designed for business could fall off search engine rankings as adaptability across devices is an important metric for website ranking. Nowadays the need to make websites accessible from a variety of devices is crucial. The aim of responsive design it to adapt to the screen orientation of any device, meaning that it would be up- to date with even emerging gadget innovations. What is a responsive website and web design? Responsive design is a front-end development step that entails a shift from web page rigidity to fluidity, based on the form of user’s device and not just on a specific screen orientation. In designing a responsive web site, attention is to be paid to navigation methods, whether touch or mouse, image resolution, download speed, and applications. Responsive website considers the difference in clicking icons and scrolling through a page, by making it adaptable for touch navigation. Similarly the graphics size has to be adapted to other devices, download speed needs to be optimized for mobile, and other handheld devices and applications need to be accessible by all smart devices. Responsive design ensures the elements of media, particularly text and images, are readable and clearly visible to the user, regardless the device from each the user is accessing it. The flexible text and images have to be adjusted within the width of the layout and accordingly to the content hierarchy. The use of flexible media ensures that content display is effectively limited to the viewer’s screen, preventing them from going outside of thedevice’s width. These elements are cornerstones of a website. Web pages that are not responsive to the requirements of all devices might loose on visitors and consequently impact the businesses.

  2. A truly optimal efficient website is one that runs on all devices with no hassles. It requires expertise and only proficient developers can help you with that.
