But to gain admission into one of these prestigious institutions, you’ll need to clear the IISER Aptitude Test, a rigorous examination that tests your knowledge in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. However, with the IISER rigorous exam 2023 just around the corner, it’s never too early to start preparing. Exam Date: IISER 2023 exam for the SCB channel is scheduled to be held in July 2023. Application Form: The application process for IAT will start in the fourth week of May 2023. The application form will only be released through online mode and made available to eligible candidates only. The last date to submit the application form for the SCB channel will be in the first week of June 2023. To apply, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria and can apply for all IISERs through a common application form. Only credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and other online payment channels are acceptable for use in the application fee submission procedure. Eligibility Requirements for the IISER: To appear for the IISER Aptitude Test 2023, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER). The eligibility criteria are as follows: Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen. Age limit: General and OBC category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998, while SC/ST and PwD category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993. Academic qualifications: The candidate should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022 with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology) and secured at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in aggregate. Minimum marks in each subject: The candidate should have scored at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in each of the science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology). It is important to note that meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission to the IISERs. Candidates will have to clear the aptitude test, which is a mandatory requirement for admission.
