  1. What is the Importance of Strobe Aircraft Lights? Each aircraft before taking off the flight must meet particular safety requirements, this applies to aircraft exterior lighting. Its main objective is to offer clear visibility to pilots and guide them through the sky. However, many types of exterior lights are found on aircraft, including aircraft light components like Aircraft White Lens 4547A at NASSCO. Let us start with the important lights like landing lights. You can find these located on different areas of the wings (nose or fuselage), and are visible from a long distance. The lights help guide the pilots into the landing and can also be used during takeoff. You might also have seen some white lights flickering during the night, also known as strobes and they use the same to detect the aircraft location at night when visibility gets low. Other types of aircraft lights are anti-collision beacon lights. You can find these lights towards the middle of the fuselage, which you can identify by their orange color lighting. These are also known as warning lights and get shut down when the engine is not working. Regularly working beacon lights also help ground engineers to find whether the aircraft engine operates perfectly or not. What are Strobe Lights? Strobe lights are also known as Anti-collision lights, designed to reduce the risk of collisions. These are also known as beacon lights, depending on their particular type. This lighting system consists of exterior- mounted light bulbs that generate illumination. Collisions between two airplanes rarely happen, but can still occur. Today pilots rely on computer-based navigation systems. In case of failure of any system, the pilot could unknowingly enter another aeroplane’s path. Collisions also might happen on the runaway, so these strobe lights reduce the chances of collisions by increasing the visibility of airplanes. The Whelen strode system lens a457 serves the same objective.

  2. How Do Anti-collision Lights Work? There are two different types of anti-collision lights beacon and strobe. Beacons are almost always red in color, found at the top portion of the fuselage and toward the bottom. The ground crew can very well see these lights whenever the airplane takes off. These lights are generated and so for flashes and so are easy to spot. These lights are white and found towards one side of the airplane. Around all the lights, strobes are the brightest, creating a flash and generating a stroke effect. All aircraft must have an approved anti-collision light and light system for operating the aircraft at the night. The position lights are known as Aviation Red towards the left side, Aviation Green towards the right, and Aviation White taillight. On some planes, the lights are flashed in rapid bursts. On an aircraft, your flash in a regular on/off manner. These lights are used either during flight or on the runway, as these are very bright, especially at night. Also, you can utilize the best LED lights for strobe lights, especially on new aircraft. All aeroplanes have multiple collision avalanche measures, including anti-collision lights. While all light systems contain light bulbs, anti- collision lights are designed to reduce the chance of collisions. For Whelen Strobe System Lens a457a to buy, visit NAASCO. The company has more than 35 years of experience in dealing with the repair overhaul services of the legacy lighting system. It distributes Whelen Aerospace Technology (VAT) products at the national and international levels.
