  1. Morocco to send a team of cybersecurity specialists to Qatar ahead of the Qatar Football World Cup The kingdom of Morocco will deploy to Qatar, ahead of the Qatar Football World Cup, a team of cybersecurity experts at the request of the Gulf country for the global event taking place across November and December, local media reported. Hamaguchi also visited the cybersecurity command centre, where he had a working session with senior Qatari officials. At the end of this meeting, it was agreed that Morocco will send a team of experts in the fight against cyberattacks to strengthen the effectiveness of the centre. The Ministry of Defence will support Qatar with military capabilities to counter terrorism and other threats to the tournament through maritime security, operational planning, and command and control support, according to a defence source who spoke to The Telegraph. The Joint Typhoon Squadron, also known as the 12 Squadron, is the United Kingdom’s first joint squadron since World War II and will be in charge of counter-terrorism operations. He said that several international trade delegations will also be able to benefit from their visit to Qatar and assess the country’s readiness for the upcoming championship. In particular, he called attention to the visit of a large delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce, comprising more than 25 members, which is the highest commercial delegation from the Saudi private sector to visit Qatar since relations returned to normal between both countries.
