He returned to MEC in 2017 in senior positions, leveraging his technical and management experience spanning various commodities such as zinc, lead, iron ore, copper, bauxite, gold, silver, mineral sands, and coal. Among his achievements, in late 2021, he led the acquisition of Integrated Geological Mining Services (IGMS), a Western Australian company.   22. Career Journey and Personal Life Chandrashekar began his career in 1990 at L&T, initially working on the shop floor assembling earth moving equipment. He later joined the Swedish multinational Svedala, focusing on establishing their business in the southern part of India.
