  5. Agenda Books/Communication Logs • Before dismissal, students record dojo points. • Must be initialed by teacher • Expectation is at least 18 pts/day • Parent communication can also be written in agendas or through pcsb email. www.pcsb.org/sandylane-es

  6. Ways to Help Your Child at Home • Check agenda each night – set goals based on points. • Oversee completion of homework • Can include math homework or reading 20 minutes with your scholar. • Practice math facts www.pcsb.org/sandylane-es

  11. Positive Behavior Intervention & Support Class Dojo Sandy Lane uses a reinforcement system called "Class Dojo." With Class Dojo, scholars earn points directly related to the The Arts Lane’s five school-wide expectations know as SHARK. www.pcsb.org/sandylane-es

  12. Connect for Success Connect for Success is a Title 1 program offered at Sandy Lane Conservatory for the Arts. The 4th and 5th grade scholars will be assigned their own computer for academic use during the day. Beginning in October, scholars will be able to take their computer home at night and/or during the weekends. The assigned computer is the one your scholar will use during class. If the computer is left at home, the scholar will have to use paper/pencil or other means to complete the necessary task. We want to ensure scholars become responsible for their own materials and learning. www.pcsb.org/sandylane-es

  13. Connect for Success • Your scholar’s teacher will give you a form to complete for the Connect for Success Program. Please complete and sign the form.
