  2. What Is The Syllabus Of 1st Class Maths CBSE Syllabus for Class 1 Maths Overview. Class 1 Maths CBSE syllabus comprises 13 units. The names are Addition, Subtraction, Shapes, and space, Time, Measurement, Data Handling, How Many, Numbers, Number from one to nine, Patterns, Money, Numbers from ten to twenty, and Numbers from twenty-one to fifty.

  3. Geometry includes not only the study of figures and their properties but a great deal more. All this put together forms geometry. Geometry has been divided into various branches based on types and topics. Class 1 maths chapter 1 shapes and space is one such branch where there will be a set of definitions, formulas, examples, and exercises to practice fundamental concepts of geometry.   4. Chapter’s Properties This chapter gives a better idea about shapes and their properties, so as to increase a student’s interest in mathematics. This chapter also covers some of the shapes that were not covered in class VI such as irregular polygons, angles, special angles like double angles, triple angles, and sine, obtuse and acute angles, a right-angled triangle whose sides are in the ratio 1:2:3. It also discusses how to analyze an image by converting it into a graph or by plotting points on the coordinate plane etc. The chapter also teaches the students to recognize different shapes like circle/ellipse/cycle/parallel transport etc.
