Almost be abolished…… • 16th century ,western medicine was introduced into China; • After 1894s, China lost the first sino-japanese war; • In 1910s, with a pestilence was raging in in the northeast of China • In 1912s, National Government didn’t add traditional medicine into medical course in university.

Almost be abolished…… • In 1913s, traditional medicine teams in 19 regions petitioned to the government. • Important figures in the cultural field strongly opposed to traditional medicine, which had great impact on government. • 1929 March 4th, government announced that the traditional medicine would be abolished. • 1929 March 17th, the representative assembly of CTM in China was held;
