  2. How to use the Cameras • The first step is checking out the camera. You do this by grabbing one of the cameras and placing your I.D. where the camera was. • Next you ask Mr. Klapp/Ms. Weinhold for the Memory card. • Once you have the card you slide it into the slot on the bottom of the camera. There is a WRONG way and a RIGHT way.

Care for the Cameras • When you have the camera in your possession always have the neck strap on. • When you are not using the cameras always remember to put the lens cap on, and if you took out the card, close the card door. Also NEVER set the camera on its lens. • If you don’t want to be yelled at by Mr. Klapp/Ms. Weinhold, don’t spin the neck strap around your hand.

  4. Taking Pictures • The first thing you need to do is make sure the little dial on top of the camera is on iA, P or the flower for close-ups. • Next thing you should do is remove the lens cap. • Then depending on how far away the object is you can use the zoom knob on the very front of the camera.

  5. Downloading Pictures • Once you have taken all of your desired pictures you first remove the card from the card slot on the bottom of the camera. • Then you grab a card reader at the front of the room right above the cameras. • Then slide the card into the card reader and put it into the USB slot on the hard drive of the computer. • Once you do that this screen will pop up. Click on the second folder to open up two more folders. • Then click DCIM, then 112_PANA, then your pictures will pop up.
