  2. Whatis public relations? • Public relations is a function of management thatestablishes and maintainsmutuallybeneficialrelationshipsbetween the institution and the public groups on whichsuccessorfailureisdetermined.

Aims of PR • In public relations activities, twotypes of aimscan be distinguished: • Strategic - long-term, aimedatcreating the desired image of the subject, • Operational - currentoperations, dealing with currentproblems of the organization and at the same beinganintermediatetasksused for achievingstrategicgoals.

  5. Socialspace of University • The internal environment, thatisgovernmentinstitutions, academicstaff, administrativestaff, and students. • The external environment, thatisauthorities and the localcommunity, the media, businessmen, sponsors, donors, alumni, prospectivestudents and theirfamilies.

Managingof AGH’s image • For public relations and image management at the • University of Science and Technology Team Department of Information and Promotion is responsible. • The team consist of six people, including University’s prees spokesman. • The main tasks of the team is to ensure access to information about education process at the University as well as organizing actions that promote University. • In fact, the performed work can be described in greater detail.
