  1. In this slide it shows smoke around the person heads because it shows how that person has a fog around themselves because all they do is smoke weed and can’t get his life straight. And that smokes represents the constant fog he is in when he is high and how he is always in a fog because he only thinks about smoking and getting high. • This shot connects with the song because the song is about the struggles in life and how people should change the way the live hence the song name “This way”. • This screen shot shows that the artist is really going for something that a lot of people related to the genre of rap could relate to. And that people should stop getting high and forgetting their priorities. • I think personally this shot shows real life in a unrealistic way because, it shows this person how he is living in a fog because he’s always high. • This is actually the opposite of the stereotypical way rap is portrayed it is showing that you shouldn’t smoke weed constantly because, you’ll lose track of your priorities.

  2. In this shot is shows Rakaa wrist in cables and a microphone in front of him. • This shot shows that the “Industry” is controlling how some artist portray their music and that they can’t escape the chains of the industry. • This shot shows that the he is locked in the “Industry’s” metaphorical chains but he eventually breaks free from them. • This shot also shows a real life portrayal in a unrealistic way, because a lot of artist are categorized as sell outs because they do what the record company wants because they think that’ll sell. But instead Dilated peoples did what they want, they did what they thought would help people. • This shot portrays the opposite of what the rap industry is because they are the exact opposite of most rap artists because they talk about giving people food for thought rather than selling themselves out and recording the stereotypical rap.

  3. In this shot it shows a man fighting with himself. • This shot shows how your biggest enemy if yourself and the only thing holding you back from doing something in life is yourself and how you got to conquer yourself and your own fears to become something bigger. • This shot shows that dilated peoples are trying to tell people what they should do if they want to advance in life. And how that they need to conquer their fear so they can be successful. • This also shows real life in a metaphorical way. • This is also the opposite.
