  6. Note guide Directions • Separate your color page into 5 equal sections • On the outside edge of the coloring page, label each section with the following vocabulary terms: • Primary • Secondary • Tertiary • Complimentary • Analogous • Color Each sections with the correct colors

  7. Primary:Colors that cannot be made by mixing any other colors Red, Blue and Yellow

  8. SecondaryThe mixing of two primary colors Green, Orange, Violet

  9. Tertiary: Combining one primary with a secondary color Red-orange, Yellow-orange, Yellow-green, Blue-green, Blue-violet, Red-violet

  10. ComplimentaryColors directly across from each other on the color wheel Red & Green Blue & Orange Yellow & Violet

  11. Analogous: Colors that are next to each other on the color wheel Warm & Cool Colors

  12. Value: Lightness or darkness of a color Larry Blackwood

  13. Tint: White added to a single color Shade: Black added to a single color

  14. MonochromaticTints and shades of a single hue

  15. Finish coloring each section of your noteguide with the correct colors.
