  4. IV. Materials • Photos of Ella and another child • Ballot box • Voting slips • Pens

  5. V. Procedure 1) Set up a voting booth in a designated area 2) Display pictures of Ella and another child 3) Ask voters to choose the “cutest” child by marking an X next to that child’s name 4) Voters then put their ballots in the box 5) Once all votes are in, tally the votes 6) Record the data in a chart

  6. VI. Data Collection • Comparison of two children with regards to cuteness

  7. VI. Data Collection • Comparison of Cuteness between two children # of Votes Children

  8. VII. Assigned Questions • None provided

  9. VIII. Conclusion • According to the data collected, our hypothesis was correct. Ella, when compared with another child, is voted as the cutest. If you look at the data collect, it shows out of 100 people’s votes, 95% of them chose Ella as the cutest. Bob only received 5% of the vote.

  10. VIII. Conclusion • A few things might have affected our results. The quality of picture provided for voting may have had an effect. Bob’s picture was slightly smaller and of poorer quality than Ella’s. Also, some voters may have felt compelled to vote for Ella because her mother was involved in the data collection process.
