  2. What is ArcGIS.com? • Web-based map creation interface • Enables collaborative map creation • Users can contribute data to share via ArcGIS.com • Free!

  3. Mobile Applications • ArcGIS mobile application is available for iPhone, iPad and Android • Enables connection to ArcGIS Servers (10.x)

  4. Importing Data • Data formats supported include: • Spreadsheets (.csv, .txt) • Shapefiles (.zip) – WGS84 projection • GPS files (GPX)

  5. Adding Text Files • Note: The file needs to contain one pair of the latitude and longitude fields in the following format:

  6. Adding Data from the Web • Data can be imported from the following: • ArcGIS Server Web Service • OGC Web Service (WMS) • KML file (Google Earth)
