College degree Gross: $43,000 Tax: 35% Net Income: $27,950 • Rent $300 • Car payments $200 • Auto Insurance $150 • Gas $200 • Cell Phone $70 • Life Insurance $30 • Netflix $8 • Spending Money $400 • Food $200 • $771 left over I will split the cost of rent with another renter. Car payments won’t be too expensive because I won’t be buying a new car. Auto insurance is just in case I get into an accident. I will spend about $50 on gas a week. I will have a cell phone so I can stay in touch. Life insurance is good just in case I get in an accident. I will have Netflix instead of cable because it’s a better deal. I will need spending money for clothes, and other necessities. I will buy food because I need to eat.
