  4. The Moodle • Your course can be found under the A2 Virtual+ link. • From this site, you will find your assignments that need to be completed to complete this course. • For some classes (Algebra 1B and Math Analysis B) there will be lessons you must do on the moodle. • Every class will have weekly assignments that must be submitted before the deadline.

  5. ALEKS • The majority of the course work will be done in ALEKS.

  6. ALEKS Overview • http://www.aleks.com/video/k12_tour • You will need to be on the Internet when you are working on topics.

  7. Grade • This course grade is your current grade. • 75% of your grade will be ALEKS mastery. This will be determined by the last ALEKS Final you take. • 5% of your grade will be based on the weekly assignments. • 20% of your grade will be the district final exam grade. • The district final and ALEKS final exam must be completed for each semester class.

  10. Completing Topics in ALEKS

  11. Tests • The ALEKS program will generate the tests: • after so many hours of work • after you have completed a certain number of topics. • If you answer the problem correctly it will remain in your pie. • If you answer incorrectly, you will need to practice more problems and then it will come up on future tests.

  12. Tests(cont..) • The test will contain questions that you may not have seen before. For those questions you can either click “I have not learned this” or try to answer the problem. If you get it correct you will not need to practice the topic in the pie.
