WHAT’S NEW IN BRIM IN 2021 With SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management, SAP Brim offers solutions for flexible implementation of the entire cash quoting process, especially for high volume, subscription or deployment scenarios. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights SAP is providing in 2021 to better serve these application needs and how we can help transform our customers with proven future business cases. Enhanced business solutions, including subscriptions Withdrawing from the clean product business is the current trend. Additional services are wrapped around a physical product and can be sold as a package. Different components may be part of the contract, but must be treated differently. The physical delivery needs to be triggered, and the service contract can monitor the service and its consumption. The subscription contains the right to use certain elements — physical or virtual. SAP supports this concept based on a bespoke solution, a new object in the S/4HANA cloud. With Issue 2102, services in SAP S/4HANA Cloud are now integrated into SAP subscription billing. If the subscription is part of a solution order, SAP takes over billing the subscription and handles the associated follow-up process.
