What do you already know? • Most deaths are caused by our behaviors. • True • If you have a history of heart disease in your family, there is nothing you can do about your risk. • False- there are many behavioral risk factors • The leading cause of death in teens is motor vehicle accidents. • True • Smoking is the single leading preventable cause of death in the United States. • True • If you are not physically sick, then you are healthy. • False- physical health is just one aspect of overall health

Physical Health- what is it? • the way your body functions. • 2. Emotional Health- what is it? • expression of your emotions- preferably positive. • 3. Social Health- what is it? • quality of your relationships with others.
