  1. Hathor Hathor was the goddess of joy, motherhood, and love

  2. Hathor was originally worshipped in the form of a cow, sometimes as a cow with stars on her. Later she is represented as a woman with the head of a cow, and finally with a human head, the face broad and placid, sometimes she is depicted with the ears or horns of a cow. Hathor was the goddess of love, sky, sun, moon, of the east, of west, of moisture, of fertility, agricultural, of underworld, joy, motherhood, music, dance, and drinking.

  3. Hathor is the daughter of Nut and Ra. She is also the wife of Ra and mother of Ivy. Hathor means “House of Horus” which associates her with the falcon-god Horus. She is considered the mother of Horus. At the same time she is also Horus’ wife.
