  2. Arrive at rehearsal and makeup call on time • Learn lines, business, and blocking on schedule • Never peek through the curtains before or during a performance • Do not change lines or stage business or tell others to do so unless the change has been approved by the director. Actor Etiquette

  3. Don’t complain about your role, costume, hairstyle, etc. • Never knowingly upstage other performers. Be careful not to do it accidentally either. • Do what the director asks you to do without arguing. • Do not borrow another actor’s makeup Actor Etiquette (cont.)

  4. Promptly report any damage to costumes or props before leaving the theater after each performance. • Be nice to the stage crew and everyone involved in the production. Actor’s Etiquette (cont.)

  5. Do not handle props or sets unless you are on the props crew. • Know emergency procedures and locations of firefighting equipment. Crew Etiquette

  6. Arrive early enough to be seated before the lights dim. • Do not talk or make noises with food or drink items. Audience Etiquette
