  2. TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of. One man gets only a week’s value out of a year while another man gets a full year’s value out of a week.---Charles Richards

  3. TIME MANAGEMENT Time is your most precious resource. It is the most valuable thing you have. It is perishable, it is irreplaceable, and it cannot be saved. It can only be reallocated from activities of lower value to activities of higher value.

  4. TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Rich people have about 24 hours in a day and poor people have 24 hours in a day. Both have equal time but it’s the outcome that is different. So what made the difference? TIME MANAGEMENT

  5. TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TIME IS A SYSTEM SIXTY SECONDS MAKES A MINUTE SIXTY MINUTES MAKES AN HOUR TWENTY FOUR HOURS MAKES A DAY SEVEN DAYS MAKES A WEEK FIFTY TWO WEEKS MAKES A YEAR XX YEARS MAKES YOUR LIFE TIME MANAGEMENT IS A SYSTEM LIFE CONSIST OF SYSTEMS, STUDY & RUN IT.

  6. TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Every successful person has their own efficient time management system. The supply of time is totally set in concrete. Regardless of demand, the supply will never change. Yesterday's time is gone forever and will never come back. There is no substitute for time.

  7. TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM You can always get more money but never more time. There is no time bank to lend you time. You invest it, spend it or waste it. Either you run your day or your day will run you, Which do you choose?

  8. TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Ordinary people think merely of spending time. Great people think of using it. -- Unknown author Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.--Theophrastus

  9. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 1. Learn to say NOThis is the most effective time maximizing word. 2. When you work—work and when you play—playDon’t mix the two. Give it your all while working but once your business obligations are done, take the time to play. 3. Know your peak hoursDiscover your most productive time. Schedule your most demanding business activities during your peak hours.

  10. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 4. The telephone is for your convenience There is no law that says you have to answer the phone or give out your cell phone number. If you don’t have a secretary, use caller ID, answering machine or voice mail to screen your calls. Return them at your convenience. This applies to both business and family time.

  11. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 5 Know the value of an hour Take the total amount of hours you work a week and multiply them by 50. Now take your current yearly income and divide it by those hours. That is your hourly worth. A man who dares to waste one hour of life has not discovered the value of life.--Charles Darwin

  12. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 5 Know the value of an hour For example: You work 40 hours a week. 40 x 50 = 2000. Your income is $100,000. Divide $100,000 by 2000 and you get $56.67. Your working hour is worth $50.00. Repeat this for your desired income.

  13. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT Know the value of a minute To throw 1000 news items in a day working 4 hrs/day You need to throw 250 per hour You need to throw 4 per minutes You cannot value an hour if you don’t value a minute ---- Mike Adebiyi

  14. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 6. Hire somebody or delegate it Are you really saving money doing it yourself or is costing you money? 7. Have a game plan Always plan your day before you start. This is going to take great discipline. Once you’ve mastered that move to planning your week, then a month, 3 months, 6 month, and then a year.

  15. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 8. Manage Interruptions Put a do not disturb sign on your door. If someone insist on interrupting you with a problem, have them write it out with 3 possible solutions before seeing you. Don’t forget to turn the TV off. TV is a great time interrupter. Actually it’s a great time stealer.

  16. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 9. Organize your work space and home Disorganization and messiness can weigh you down. You’ll get more done if you are organized. This may take more time up front to set it up but will save time in the long run.

  17. KEYS TO TIME MANAGEMENT 10. Use one calendar - Day Planner Make your day planner the central location for your information. Keep track of business expenses, both personal and business appointment, telephone conversations, meeting notes, to do list etc.

  20. Habit # 8 for Highly successful people They sleep an average of 4-5hrs a day. The night is simply a part of the day with the absence of light. They know that the night was not designed only for sleep but for constructive work towards the attainment of life goals. They never go to bed without measuring the progress of the day and setting a clear course of action for constant improvement. Pr. 6:9-11MSG!

  21. TIME MANAGEMENT Let us calculate possible time wasted at age 50 Based on 30 productive years (20 is growing time) 3 hrs extra sleep per day = 3.75 years 2 hrs TV per day = 2.5 years 1 hr driving per day = 1.25 years 2 hrs on the phone per day = 2.5 years 2 hrs talking and jesting per day = 2.5 years 2 hrs eating time per day = 2.5 years Total for 30 years wasted = 15rs out of 30 yrs wasted

  22. TIME MANAGEMENT THE MOST VALUABLE ASSET YOU HAVE IS “YOU” THE SECOND MOST VALUABLE ASSET YOU HAVE IS “YOUR TIME” Your success in life depends on how well you manage these two assets - Invest them - Spend them - Waste them
