Did You Know? • You can get a confidential HIV test done at the SUNY Oneonta Student Health Center. • One-third of all new HIV infections in the US occur in people between the ages of 13 and 29. • The HIV virus is spread through body fluids, including blood, semen, vaginal secretions & breast milk. • The most common ways that people become infected are unprotected sexual intercourse and the sharing of needles & syringes. • If you have engaged in unprotected sex or have shared needles, you should get tested. • Learn more at www.amfar.org Spread the word, not the virus.
