Progress since the February 22 Meeting of the E+CWG • The English portion of the site has undergone a good overhaul to bring • it up-to-date. 19 pages updated. • The French portion of the web site was overhauled and the Installations • section translated and inserted (was missing previously) • The Ask the Experts forum is maintained and continues to receive • good use from consumers • A new section of the site is in preparation aimed at professionals • contemplating a move to HDTV production • Work is under way to include streaming video copies of the CDTV • PSA’s for viewers Meeting of the E+C WG, Nov. 02, 2005

Site Update – 2005 Summary of Changes • Recognise the availability of new Canadian HDTV services • Make available a comprehensive list of BDU’s carrying HDTV services • Enhance the appearance of the site • Update information on the STB and TV technologies, such as display technology, LCD, DLP, etc. and HDMI/DVI interconnection • Include information on HD-PVR and other new devices • Address Plug-and-Play and Cable Card technology that is coming into the market • Add new material on Aspect Ratios (from TWG work) • Promote and distribute the CDTV brochure Meeting of the E+C WG, Nov. 02, 2005
