The state- of-the-art, interactive three-dimensional computer-aided application has been developed in much more than CAD (Computer Aided Design)software. It was first developed by Dassault Systems in 1977 to develop its Mirage fighter plane. Later, it was adopted by the aerospace, automotive, naval and other industries. Dassault Systems is a European software development company that develops 3D design software, 3D digital mockup and product development life cycle (PLM).
