  1. INVITATION TO ATTEND 1 December 2010 Hawken Building – The University of Queensland – St Lucia You are invited to attend this year’s Postgraduate Research Conference. The Conference provides an opportunity to showcase the outstanding research activities of honours and postgraduate students within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Guest Presenters Jan King - Manager of marketing and communications at UQ – will present ‘communicating research ideas and findings to the public, and working with the media’ and; An expert panel will discuss ‘career options after your PhD’ – Professor Paul Hodges (research positions), Professor Sylvia Rodger (teaching/academic positions), Professor Liz Ward (research in clinical settings), and Dr Trevor Russell (commercialisation of research). Venue Presentations will be held from 9.30am in the Hawken Engineering Building (50) Room T203. Attendees will be able to register for the conference from 9am. RSVP There are no registration costs associated with attending the Conference, but please ensure you RSVP (including any special dietary requirements) for catering purposes by 17th November 2010 to pgrc@uq.edu.au.
