SR-76 Corridor TransNet EMP 7 • Purpose • TransNet Ordinance • Provide for large-scale acquisition and management of critical habitat areas and to create a reliable approach for funding required mitigation for future transportation improvements • Reduce future costs and accelerating project delivery. Purchase of mitigation lands in advance of need will result in cost savings. • Success • Nearly 1600 acres acquired • $80 Million • Create, enhance and preserve habitat • Support wildlife connectivity
