Current lists of users • Aleph users: • Home library • Health Management Library • Rotational placements? • OLIB • EduServ OpenAthens: • 53678 accounts (22 August 2016) • 1532 accounts have an email address duplicating another account • 2522 accounts to be checked • Plus a number of potential duplicate accounts using different email addresses

  3. Creating one record per user: Aleph user record will have inserted as an extra identifier the PUID (persistent user identifier) associated with the corresponding OpenAthens account. PUIDs are unique across all of EduServ. They look something like 2059c100:0147e6c We will use the email addresses to cross-match Aleph users with OpenAthens users. But what happens if email address matches more than one account? Tidying up – Aleph users – OpenAthens users
