  9. GROUP DISCUSSION A PRAYER TO PRAY PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 QUESTION “ Do not be ANXIOUSabout anything” Phil 4:6 “By PRAYER and PETITION present your requests to God.” Phil. 4:6 “By prayer and petition, with THANKSGIVING” Phil 4:6 “The PEACE OF GOD which surpasses all understanding.” Phil 4:7 “He will GUARD your HEARTS and your MINDS in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:7 Why would we not pray in a crisis, or when we are in need? Why Thank God if He hasn’t answered yet?

  10. GROUP DISCUSSION A PRICIPLE TO LEARN PHILIPPIANS 4:11-13 • “I have learned the secret of being CONTENT in any and every situation.” Phil. 4:12 • “I can DO ALL THINGS through Christ who gives me strength.” Phil. 4:13 • “After all we brought nothing when we came into this world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So, if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.” • 1 Tim 6:7-8. • “... Give me neither poverty nor riches... For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “who is the Lord?” And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name.” Prov 30:7-9. QUESTION What are Paul’s 2 keys to Contentment? What kind of outside forces can impact your contentment? Since God doesn’t always change the outside forces, what needs to change in you to keep contentment?
