  3. HOSA Outing • This Saturday • Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas • Show begins at 6:30 • Purchase tickets before Whataburger dinner • We will meet at Whataburger at 5:30 • PG-13 • May bring a friend If you need a ride, try to arrange one today at the meeting!!!! Put it in your phone calendar!

  4. Texas Children’s • HOSA is partnering with DECA to donate and deliver capes and crowns for the children who are hospitalized at Texas Children’s Hospital in Texas • Dollar Store sells both 

  6. Raising $ for children’s brain tumor research

  7. Cards for Administrators/Staff • Please stop by Ms. Clark’s room next week to sign several Christmas cards that will be given to the administrators and other staff members. • A way to thank them for support of HOSA 

  8. Nursing Home • Let’s rekindle the umph in our volunteer efforts at the Nursing Home on Rockmead Drive in Kingwood. • Every Tuesday, a group should go! • Ms. Clark can provide ‘to’ transportation if you have a signed parent note. • Gather a group and let’s get out there! • They LOOOOOVE having us and miss us!

  9. Online Testers • Great job to all of you online testers. We are proud of your efforts and love that you gained experience with the HOSA testing process. • Congrats to those who are moving forward in the competition! • Advanced to Area: Sadie, Uri, Frankie, Bailey, Mackenzie, Jocelin • Advanced to State: Austin, Mari • Holly is an alternate for State • Congrats All!

  10. Area Competition • Feb 14, some may be on 15 • We will miss a day of school! • Must prepare now • Cost is $25 • Ms. Clark needs a $10 deposit by next Friday to sign you up :) • Prepare over Christmas!! • Demonstrations in January to Ms. C

  11. January/Feb Field Trip • Communication and Leadership Field trip in January • Work with a horse trainer and horses to see the dynamics of communication and a trust based relationship   

  12. Fundraisers and Tshirt Ideas • Please send any and all ideas to Sage and Savannah or Ms. Clark • Make or Order? Discuss / Vote • Scarfs, earmuffs, headbands Michaela’s mom may be able to make tshirts?
