QC Advantages • QC is a unique product collecting and linking together all business requirements, test cases, test executions and issues raised internally or by the customers in one application. • Provides detailed status, reporting, coverage and quality information to all levels of the organisation. • Widely used test and issue management application within the software development industry, including offshore resources currently used by TIA. • Existing requirements / test cases can be migrated into QC using Excel Add in. • Automation – QC integrates with QTP allowing • Creation & Execution of a record and play automated regression test • Execution of XML against services(Soap). • Execution of the policy test(PLSQL).

QC Implementation • Phase 1 – QC Test Management – Release 6.1 • Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab & Release Cycle Management • Phase 2 – Jira integration with QC – Release 6.2 • Issue management (Project Issues) • JIRA issues migrated to QC • Workbench used for customer issues & stabilisation • Phase 3 – WB Integration with QC – Release 6.2 (or later) • All WB cases automatically migrated into QC. • Requires update to customer web application • Additional Integration Requirement (Development) • Subversion Integration - Link Issues to the code object. • See tasks required - Implementation Plan
