Foundational Skills for Next 60 Days • Reading Comprehension (TRC Reading Level) - Retell story - Answer questions from text -Use reading strategies to increase comprehension • Reading Language Standard 3.1 -Ask and answer questions that demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as a basis for the answers

Goal Setting • From looking at the whole class data and your child’s data what goals do you have in mind for your child? • 3rd grade Reading Comprehension Level Goals for the year are: BOY- Level N MOY- Level O EOY- Level P • Students will be tested on RL 3.1 ALL YEAR for each P.I.A. test a mastered level is 8-9/9 answers correct
